Russia's "Errors" Incarnate

THE EDITOR

"After the most sacred name of Jesus, the name of Mary is so rich in every good thing, that on earth and in heaven there is no other from which devout souls receive so much grace, hope, and sweetness."

- St. Alphonsus de Liguori

"The devils fear the Queen of heaven to such a degree, that only on hearing her great name pronounced, they fly from him who does so as from a burning fire."

- Thomas à Kempis

"In the same way as the rebel angels fly from sinners who invoke the name of Mary, so also do the good angels approach nearer to just souls who pronounce her name with devotion."

- Our Lady to St. Bridget

In Britain, independent Catholic journals of small means come and go. Yet here we are, six decades on, still standing: still punching for Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Church. This remarkable feat owes everything to Our Blessed Mother; to the help and protection lavished upon all who turn to her. Again and again, during difficulties great and small, our undeserving pleas and petitions, supplemented by the Masses and prayers of readers, have been answered through her maternal intercession; so powerful before the throne of her Divine Son. Indeed, Christian Order is a living advert for that filial confidence in our heavenly mother proclaimed by St. Bernard in his Memorare: "never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, and sought thy intercession, was left unaided." Amen!

At some point during our 60th anniversary year, therefore, a special Thank You has been owing to Our Lady for all she has done for us, and for any small good we may have accomplished for Christ through her. Since this month ever recalls Our Lady of Fatima and the spectacular public miracle of the sun that sealed the authenticity of supernatural events unprecedented in the history of the Church and mankind, October is a good time to express our gratitude. To that end, with the kind permission of the Fatima Center, we have reprinted the enclosed booklet: The Fatima Timeline.

Published several years ago, this compendium sets forth in clear chronological order the complex history of Fatima events from day one. In view of the urgency of Our Lady's message/warning — to repent, do penance and return to God, or else — and her still unfulfilled request for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart — to effect the conversion of Russia and subsequent veneration of the Immaculate Heart of Mary alongside the Heart of Jesus — the Timeline itself serves a dual purpose: practical and spiritual.

Firstly, as a ready reference for what happened when, where, how and why; not least apropos the neutering of papal consecrations and conspiratorial efforts to bury the Third Secret.

Secondly, as a devotional tool; by recalling Mary's maternal solicitude for the salvation of her children, what she asked of us (especially commitment to the First Saturday Communion of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart), and precisely what is at stake for a world racing towards a devastating punishment for its unspeakable sins: divine retribution that will surely dwarf the two catastrophic world war-punishments inflicted on earlier generations; societies which seem almost saintly in comparison with today's hyper-hedonistic West.

Red threads

Fatima of course is always timely: "still more relevant... [and] still more urgent" than it was in 1917, declared John Paul II in 1982. In 2019 it has never been more contemporary. Whether doctrinaire Marxism of the Chinese and Cuban varieties, or the cultural and economic Marxism of the BBC, Corbyn & Co., the materialistic essence of the "errors" preached by Marx and spread abroad by bolshevist Russia (as the Socialist antidote to the supernatural Gospel of the Resurrected Christ they despised), binds the world as never before. Ditto the Church.

Catholic neocons who think the relevance of Fatima and Our Lady's prophesies ended with the 1989 turn of events need to remove their blinkers and face up to this terrifying papacy and its alignment with a neo-Marxist world. For starters they should consider the openly subversive Vatican-China deal: comparing Cardinal Zen's many detailed warnings about that catastrophic compromise with its enthusiastic promotion by the Pope's close friend Archbishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo. Head of the Vatican’s Pontifical Academies for Sciences and Social Sciences, Sorondo said in early 2018 that China’s brutal Communist regime is the "best (at) implementing the social doctrine of the Church," praising China as "extraordinary"!

While pondering the enormity of that sell out in terms of Fatima, and all it says (screams!) about Francis and his Bergoglianistas, they should then read The Read Thread: A Search for Ideological Drivers Inside the Anti-Trump Conspiracy (Bravura Books, 2019). An irrefutable work of meticulous research by Diana West, it documents chapter and verse the abiding Communist influence at the highest political levels; specifically among the coup plotters against President Trump within the Department of Justice and so-called Intelligence Community. Often more like Communist pedigrees than threads, familial ties to Communism and/or formative years under renowned Marxist academics all explain the revolutionary ideology of the Deep State and why its denizens are waging a war to the death with Donald Trump, his "deplorable" supporters, and Western patriot movements everywhere. Former FBI Director James Comey is indicative of the breed.

Sacked by Trump for subversive acts against his presidency, West reveals how Comey's amorality and "higher purpose" treachery is the direct outcome of the textbook Communism he imbibed from his hero Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971). A celebrated liberal Protestant theologian, not only did Niebuhr openly advocate "social ownership" of property and the use of revolutionary violence to bring about political change and "equal justice," he was a militant member of the Socialist Party (1930-40) whose membership of over one dozen Communist front organisations (which advanced the Kremlin line) included leadership positions.

In that light, it is hardly surprising to learn, as set forth by Comey in his 95-page honours thesis at William & Mary College (1982), that Niebuhr’s "notion of justice" includes no right and no wrong. There are no "moral absolutes." There is something Niebuhr calls "love," explains West, which is a nice name for his rationale for "equality" via "distribution" (read: redistribution) by a coercive, even violent regime. "No wonder Niebuhr’s ideas appealed to young Communist Comey — and, according to Comey, himself," she stresses, "they still do." (And not just to Comey. Barack Obama once referred to Niebuhr as "one of my favourite philosophers.")

Like all socialists climbing the lucrative capitalist pole, Comey has attempted to distance himself from his youthful past. "I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now," he told New York Magazine in 2003. "I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically." Really?  Both the use of "Reinhold Niebuhr" as his handle on Twitter until 2017, and the title of his self-justifying 2018 book, A Higher Loyalty, suggest otherwise! As does his July 2016 tweet: "All who believe in this country’s values must vote for Democrats this fall," his rank perversion of justice to exonerate Hillary Clinton from her myriad flagrant crimes, and his attempted take down of a duly elected President.

Diana West's investigation naturally recalls the determination of Senator Joseph McCarthy to expose traitors imbedded within America's post-war body politic: both Soviet agents and the more numerous and dangerous agents of influence (who approximate today's Deep State cabal). Demonised and derided to this day, McCarthy's brave anti-Communist crusade was thoroughly vindicated in 1995 by the declassification of the Venona Project; Soviet cables sent to Communist operatives in the field from 1943 to 1980, decrypted by the U.S. Army. By unravelling the same subversive threads in the same factual way as McCarthy, West can expect the same ill-treatment by the same Marxist controllers of public discourse today. As this subtitle and extended extract from her book illustrates, Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose:

15. An FBI Director of the Old Frankfurt School

Between Reinhold Niebuhr and James Comey lies only one “degree of separation.” That “degree” is in the person of the late Professor James C. Livingston, Comey’s main advisor on his 1982 senior honors thesis, “Reinhold Niebuhr and Jerry Falwell: The Christian in Politics.”

As Comey was a student of Livingston in the 1980s at William & Mary [College], Livingston was a student of Niebuhr in the 1950s at Union Theological Seminary (UTS). Livingston was also a student of Paul Tillich, another world-famous socialist at UTS. Tillich and Niebuhr were not only colleagues at UTS, but it was Niebuhr who helped Tillich secure his teaching position after Tillich arrived in the United States from Nazi Germany in the 1930s, with help from the Institute of International Education (IIE).

In Germany, Tillich had taught as a close associate of the Frankfurt School, the notoriously Marxist institution, some of whose members and associates were later linked to the NKVD. (Meanwhile, the co-founder and president of IIE, Stephan Duggan, was also the father of State Department official Lawrence Duggan, later exposed as a Soviet agent. Much of the institute’s 1930s legwork was performed by Edward R. Murrow, then an officer of IIE, later the CBS star and an open antagonist of Sen. Joseph McCarthy.) The institute transplanted hundreds of refugee-academics onto American campuses. Many, such as Tillich and Herbert Marcuse, would inculcate Marxist ideas in generations of college students. The institute, by the way, is still up and running. On checking its current activities, I found its president, Allan Goodman, on a 2017 panel at a State Department-co-sponsored conference on “Global Ties.” One of the other co-panelists was suspected intelligence agent Joseph Mifsud, a “shadowy” figure in the anti-Trump conspiracy.

Just as it applies to James Comey, this is not only a red thread; this is a red pedigree. In the government service of James Comey, America not only had a Niebuhrian Deputy Attorney General and FBI Director reputed to be a Republican — by this point, I hope, a deeply unsettling notion — but a once-removed-Frankfurt-Schooled-one as well. For the record, here’s the chain of intellectual custody: Frankfurt School/Paul Tillich and Reinhold Niebuhr to UTS/James C. Livingston to William & Mary/James Comey to Us, the People.

While discussing Tillich and Niebuhr, I should interject that Hillary Clinton’s ideological thread runs parallel. Her key mentor as a teenager in the 1960s was the Reverend Donald G. Jones, who effectively infiltrated Hillary Clinton’s Methodist Church as a youth minister, spreading a Marxist kind of gospel inspired by Tillich’s theology. As described by Hillary Clinton biographer Barbara Olson, Tillich’s theology was based in a belief that Christianity’s revival “could come only from a critique of society that took its inspiration from Marxist lines of thought.” Oh, and did I mention Jones had young Hillary Rodham reading Tillich and Niebuhr, too? Hillary would “progress” to Saul Alinsky.

Conservatives make much of the corrosive influence of the Frankfurt School’s Marxist teachings, and with good reason. Comey’s honors thesis, then, becomes a case study in the dissemination of these ideas over a couple of academic generations. Perhaps in Comey’s subsequent government career, we might begin to recognize ways in which those teachings have been weaponized.

End of "eternal morality"

This extends far beyond the Washington Swamp to the Western Cesspit at large. As flagged by the seismic shift from stability to total anarchy, the "errors" of Russia have been diffused through all the formative institutions of the West: notably by the atheistic Jews of the so-called Frankfurt School who weaponised them to demonise and destroy Christian notions of objective truth, fixed moral norms, and reality itself. Now addicted to these wicked inversions, the dissolute hoi-polloi absolve themselves on standard Marxian grounds — albeit unconsciously; in contrast to the studious, doctrinaire self-absolutions of the anti-Trump Deep Staters examined by West.

Drawing from Niebuhr, James Comey for one writes: "A certain political action may be evil but not necessarily immoral given the circumstances." As West points out, Lenin said the same thing this way: "Our morality is entirely subordinated to the interests of the class struggle of the proletariat. To a Communist, all morality lies in this united discipline and conscious mass struggle against the exploiters. We do not believe in eternal morality, and we expose the falseness of all the fables about morality."

So, no Higher Law. Just earnestness and sincerity at the service of a 'higher loyalty' to 'social justice' and 'equity.' Sounds noble. But Deep State actors in Washington exemplify the unsmiling face that ever lurks behind the pleasing platitudes. As West explains, the wilful will to do "good" is the familiar driver of socialist revolutions and coups and conspiracies the world over. The anti-Trump conspirators were "willing to sin in the name of justice" (James Comey) and ready to "[violate] personal liberties and procedural justice" (ex-CIA Director John Brennan). After all, they were "desperate Trump not be elected" (ex-MI6 agent David Steele, compiler of the 'dirty dossier' that framed Trump for Hillary and the Democrats). "He is not ever going to become president, right? Right?!" (text from FBI attorney Lisa Page to her adulterous lover Peter Strzok). "No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it" (response to Page by FBI agent Strzok, a lead investigator/peddler of the 'Russia collusion' hoax).

Red as Green

Dissolving the Christian foundations of the West like a diabolic acid, Millennials are just the latest hollowed out generation to be filled with this corrosive spirit of self-righteousness: the Luciferian spirit of Lenin, whose hatred of Godly national sovereignty still rages in the drive for God-less globalism. For what is the whitewashing of all mention of God and Christianity from the European constitution if not a glimpse of the unsmiling face behind the smiley modern facade of Lenin's old Comintern? Created two years after the Fatima apparitions, the Communist International resolved to "struggle by all available means, including armed force, for the overthrow of the international bourgeoisie and the creation of an international Soviet republic as a transition stage to the complete abolition of the state." This remains the political goal of ends-justifies-the-means socio-political engineers constructing a global empire for the oligarchs. Of all the variegated neo-Marxist "isms" deployed for that politically socialistic, governmentally technocratic, corporately monopolistic, religiously syncretistic purpose,  environmentalism has emerged as the most popular and effective weapon.

Deprived of the saving knowledge of their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Mother Earth has rapidly become the idol of choice of a "faithless and perverse generation" (Lk 9:41). Relentless 24/7 "climate change" propaganda depicting holy nature under attack has fuelled such intense devotion that reason has been jettisoned, science corrupted, free expression suppressed, and polite objectors cast out as dangerous "climate deniers." Hence the "watermelon" label affixed to radical environmentalists: green on the outside; red on the inside. After all, who needs card-carrying Communists when "useful idiots" can do the totalitarian job!

That Pope Francis is now a chief Green-propagandist makes the red threads running through his own life, already manifest in so many ways, more vivid still. Especially as he is emboldening a movement synonymous with the anti-gospel of Karl Marx. As I noted some years ago, "the abolition of religion," Marx's stated goal, "remains the animating force of the Socialist deception he passed on like a mutating virus. Today,... the whole panoply of deceivers gathered under the Green umbrella of the Socialist International are the inheritors and disseminators of this anti-gospel: to clear away the Christian barrier obstructing their secularisation of faith and morals; to cut man adrift from his transcendent moorings."

Since this is also the fundamental aim of the Lodge, today "we find the Gran Logia de Chile, one of the country’s most important and influential masonic lodges, making the rounds of Chilean High Schools to encourage youngsters to join the upcoming UN climate conference in Santiago de Chile, the COP25." [LifeSiteNews] In view of his honorary membership of the masonic Rotary Club and the masonic indifferentism he preaches through his Abu Dhabi Declaration, it makes sense that Francis, too, is promoting the forthcoming UN conference, advocating the need for globalist organisations to take control of the climate scam. Meanwhile, Scamazon, the latest subversive "synod" to gather in Rome, is not promoting the conception and salvation of souls in order to populate heaven as God intended, but a sterile pagan substitute for fruitful Catholic families who will not burn incense before
the Carbon Idol of the people-cullers.

Inconvenient truths

Francis should of course ditch the claims of environmental hustlers living off the $1.5 to $2 trillion estimated by meteorologist Anthony Watts to be "tied up in the climate hoax". He should instead take counsel from the financially disinterested. People like Steve Mosher, a social scientist, author, and recognised expert in China’s domestic policy who knows all there is to know about the population controllers. Mosher calls eco-alarmism a billion-dollar a year "giant propaganda effort" against science and common sense. "This is a myth of guilt," he said in October 2017 during an international symposium. "This is a myth that drives population control. This is a myth that will decrease the use of energy that will literally kill poor people. [...] This is ultimately about radical environmentalists (engineering) their idea of paradise before man," he charged, saying radicals believe that people "ruined" their paradise:

"They have seized upon global warming as an excuse to justify their war on people to promote abortion, sterilisation, and contraception around the world. ...  They cheered China’s one-child policy from the very beginning. ... Here we almost have a demonic hatred of our fellow human beings. They cry copious tears over a mistreated dog or cat, but they ignore that 4,000 babies are being brutally killed — torn limb from limb — in wombs across the United States today."

Francis should take all this on board. But Catholic Mosher is not his cup of (Green) tea. As if his carbon-spewing brood of nine home-schooled children were not heinous enough, there's also his dastardly home truths. "I’m afraid," says Mosher, "there are certain people in the Vatican who are more interested in winning applause from the world than … evangelising and getting as many people home to heaven as possible." Ouch! And again, apropos the Pope's PC-posturing on climate change as the cause of world hunger Mosher explained: "That gets the facts exactly backwards. It’s poverty that’s the enemy of the environment, not people. Once you cure poverty, people will take care of the environment. More people as good stewards of the environment means more of everything else: more whales, more trees, more land set aside."

Cutting even closer to the papal bone is the Marxist analogy Mosher used to stress the "heavily politicised" science drowning out "real science" on the question of global warming: "Think about how the theories of the Soviet biologist Lysenko ― the nonsensical idea that acquired characteristics could be inherited ― was so appealing to Stalin that the entire Soviet academic establishment was forced to endorse it."

Tragically, Francis and his Scamazon comrades have no time for inconvenient truths and Catholic commonsense. Faithless and heedless, in bed with Green globalists at war with God and human life, they are, like the Deep State,Russia's "errors" incarnate!
