The Ecumenic Brotherhood

THE EDITOR

"The great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top."

"And the flame of corruption is even visibly increasing by the hour, working down from above."

The first quote is Cardinal Ciappi’s oft-cited summation of the Third Secret of Fatima. The second, from Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov, was among the comments posted online under the ensuing report by Remnant columnist Elizabeth Yore. It summed up the general disgust at the Pope's elevation of a renowned sexual degenerate to the southern Chilean see of Osorno.

Announced in January, the consecration of Bishop Juan Barros went ahead on 21 March despite the outrage of laity, clergy and politicians alike; culminating in a riot inside the Cathedral during his installation.

Mrs Yore's article explains and vindicates the Chilean anger. More generally, it speaks to the ongoing deep-seated corruption within the Roman curia and the Western hierarchy: to the "filth," and enablers of the "filth," laid bare in the dossier prepared at the request of Pope Benedict. Passed to his successor, we got the gist of its undisclosed contents when Francis soon named "the gay lobby" as a curial problem. A problem he promptly compounded by handing notorious sodomite Mgr Battista Ricca the custodial keys to three Vatican guesthouses; including the papal toy residence at Casa Santa Marta.

Ever since, the Pope has variously pandered to the sodomites. So why would we be at all surprised that the rots worsens and deepens? That Barros has been promoted? That Cardinal Errazuriz, who covered up for Barros and his predatory Chilean circle, was handpicked by the Pope for his council of eight advisers? Far from surprising, it is all so utterly — tragically — predictable.

Not just the "flame" but the stench of corruption "working down from above" is overpowering.

If we are not holding our nose over a morally repugnant episcopal elevation like that of Barros, we are doing so over curial appointments like Cardinal John Dew. A Pascendi archetype, for many years he has argued in favour of admitting the divorced-remarried to Holy Communion.

"Let’s not be concentrating on rules," he wrote, shortly after thrashing his hobbyhorse at the October 2014 Synod. As reward for his manifest lack of Catholic faith and understanding, the Pope has just appointed His Eminence as a member of two dicasteries of the Holy See: the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, and the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity.

As in the civil sphere, this is all about patronage and/or blackmail; the moral bilgewater inevitably spilling onto the doctrinal decks of Peter's barque.

On the Barros front, it involves the sort of compromising information that fuelled and maintained the homosexual infiltration of the seminaries, and the subsequent cover ups — whereby teens and children, even babes in their cots, were abandoned to depraved clerics so prelates could maintain their always comfortable, often indulgent, sometimes equally wicked lifestyles.

This spirit of Antichrist was never more manifest than in the signal failure to implement Benedict XVI's directives to cleanse the Church of perverts and homo-heresy. Meanwhile, his dossier exposing peddlers of that anti-spirit remains safely out of sight (— if it hasn't already been destroyed! Remember the "long dossier" prepared for Paul VI by then-Archbishop Gagnon [March 2007, p. 39]? "Rich in worrisome facts," it was placed in a double-locked safe on Paul VI's order, only to be stolen the next day).

Reflexively, neoconservatives point out that, unlike Pope Paul, Francis has at least acknowledged the need to address the corruption. But financial reform is an easy sop to cries for thoroughgoing moral reform.

The Yore commentary confirms the stinking reality.

Even as I write (15 May), Francis has just appointed Fr Timothy Radcliffe as a consultor to the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace — a blasphemer who views homosexual relations (aka sodomy) as "generous, vulnerable, tender ... expressive of Christ's self-gift"!

Only a fortnight earlier, this mainstreaming of sins that cry to Heaven had been denounced by the international pro-life coalition, Voice of the Family

We wish to express our grave concern at the presence of Ban Ki Moon, the UN Secretary General, and Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Earth Institute, at the Vatican workshop Protect the Earth, Dignify Humanity. The Moral Dimensions of Climate Change and Sustainable Development held by the Pontifical Academy for Sciences, Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and Religions for Peace on April 28th 2015 in anticipation of the new papal encyclical on the environment.

Ban Ki Moon and Professor Jeffrey Sachs are noted advocates of abortion who operate at the highest levels of the UN.

[...] In light of the attacks on innocent human life witnessed at the UN under the guise of environmental concerns, we are troubled to note the Vatican workshop’s desire "to help build a global movement across all religions for sustainable development and climate change throughout 2015 and beyond". This timetable exactly coincides with the negotiations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the UN, which include strong attacks on life and family.

Masonic Infiltration and Interfaith Apostasy

Since all of this exudes the naturalistic malodour of Satan's spawn, we also feature a summary explanation of Freemasonry and its infiltration of the Church; wherein the mainstreaming of Masonry and its malign spirit dovetails with the workaday corruption and convergence. It has reached such humdrum levels that the French bishops did not hesitate to choose as their latest figurehead, a man accused of Lodge affiliation.

In April 2013, Archbishop Georges Pontier was elected to replace Cardinal Vingt-Trois as head of the French Bishops' Conference. Ordained in 1966, consecrated bishop in 1988, and Archbishop of Marseilles since 2006, the 72-year-old Pontier was once considered too left-wing to be a serious contender for such a prominent role. Nowadays, even a shocking revelation by the online Riposte Catholique, that he had regularly attended Lodge meetings, and could well be a paid up member of the Grand Orient, was no barrier. According to the report, when questioned about the matter by his flock during a pastoral visit, His Grace did not deny the charge.

Yet none of this raised a solitary murmur within official 'Catholic' circles. Commented Médias-Presse-Info:

One can only wonder what Pope Leo XIII would think about the present state of affairs in the French hierarchy. It is not difficult to guess that he would take action to stop the bold plans of the Masons to "combine together" evil with the good, as he warns in his encyclical Humanum genus of April 2, 1884:

"What, therefore, the sect of the Freemasons is, and what course it pursues, appears sufficiently from the summary We have briefly given. Their chief dogmas are so greatly and manifestly at variance with reason that nothing can be more perverse. To wish to destroy the religion and the Church which God Himself has established and whose perpetuity He insures by His protection, and to bring back after a lapse of 18 centuries the manners and customs of the pagans, is signal folly and audacious impiety. [...]

This Lodge-led pagan regression — to blasphemous filth — was moronically manifest in the "Je suis Charlie!" outpouring. Indeed, it is noteworthy that several of the murdered Charlie Hebdo staff and fellow-travellers were either Lodge members (Michele Renaud and Bernard Maris), or related to Masons (a parent of Bernard 'Tignous' Verlhac, and the wife of Wolinski who belongs to the Grande Loge féminine de France). The son of a 'Brother' was also among the wounded.

"In this insane and wicked endeavour," concludes Pope Leo, "we can see the implacable hatred and spirit of revenge with which Satan himself is inflamed against Jesus Christ."

'Brother' Pontier, Reinhard Marx, Walter Kasper, Timothy Dolan et. al., are the smug and smiley maturation of this anti-spirit that seized the clergy long ago.

To cite just one among the endless public betrayals under Paul VI: in 1975, the Cardinal Primate of Brazil offered a Mass to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a local Masonic Lodge — on Christmas day!

Around the same time, Franco Bellegrandi, a former member of the papal court and contributor to L’Osservatore Romano, was penning his revelatory memoir, Nikita Roncalli. Finally published in 1994, the redoubtable Cardinal Silvio Oddi saw fit to attend its release. In his book, Bellegrandi relates what he saw and heard at the Vatican, including this incident in September 1958, just before the conclave that elected Angelo Roncalli as John XXIII:

I was in a car with a person whom I knew to be a highly placed Mason who was in contact with the Vatican. He said to me: "The next Pope will not be Siri, as the gossip has it in certain Roman circles, because he is too authoritarian a cardinal. A conciliating Pope will be elected. He has ALREADY been chosen, and is the Patriarch of Venice, Roncalli." To this I replied: "Are there Masons in the Conclave?" "Certainly," he said. "The Church is in our hands."

The following day, Count Stella [of a well known Italian family] wrote in an official document, which today is in a notary’s safety deposit box, the first and last name of this person as well as his stupefying declaration, complete with the month, year, day, and time of day. (p. 62)

Presto! With Cap'n John positioned at the helm, the sea change in ecumenical policy quickly followed.

Perhaps the most deleterious of the false belief-systems undermining the doctrines and practice of the Church, false ecumenism is a key part of the Masonic masterplan because it is integral to its own belief-system. In The Deadly Deception [1988], American James Shaw, one of the highest Lodge defectors to Christianity, writes:

As I studied more and more, I saw with increasing clarity that Masonry teaches that... all religions are of equal worth and validity. Thus, Jesus Christ is reduced to the level of the other 'exemplars', such as Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius....

Under "MASONIC DOCTRINE," Shaw underlines that

God is, basically, whatever we perceive Him to be; ... Usually referred to with the vague and general term, 'Deity', ... spoken of generically as "The Great Architect". […] However, those who pursue the higher studies in Masonry learn that God is the force of nature, specifically the Sun with its life-giving powers.

Unknown to most Lodge members in Britain but revealed to the small number of Master Masons "exalted" to the Royal Arch, the Masonic god — aka the Great Architect of the Universe — is, in fact, the Devil: presented as the satanic trinity JAH-BUL-ON.

Hidden behind the public face of the Lodge, knowledge of this demonic entity strips away the esoteric mumbo-jumbo and ecumenical jargon in which it cloaks itself; revealing the "whole principle and object of the sect" as precisely the "criminal and vicious" enterprise Leo XIII condemned.

It rams home, too, the perfidy of prelates who not only refuse to "tear away the mask of Freemasonry",as Pope Leo demanded, but make common cause with it — and so with Satan himself!

In that sinister light, the Masonic 'rite' led by Mr Shaw, related on the final page of this edition, makes perfect sense. As does his creepy initiation into the exalted ranks of the Brotherhood.

During that ceremony, the well-intentioned but blissfully ignorant Shaw found himself drinking wine out of a human skull, and swearing "true allegiance to the Supreme Council of the 33rd degree, above all other allegiances."

He provides a snapshot of the diabolic power and influence exerted through Masonic minions:

There were some extremely prominent men there that day, including a Scandinavian King, two former presidents of the United States, an internationally prominent evangelist, two other internationally prominent clergymen, and a very high official of the federal government, the one who actually presented me with the certificate of the 33rd Degree.

Steeped in false ecumenism, your Modernist prelate gravitates towards this syncretic power structure and glides into it. Hence the delight of the local Lodge at the election of Georges Pontier, whose obsessive focus is interfaith dialogue, notably with Muslims. Typically, in 2009, during Ramadan, he told Catholics they must "go beyond themselves to discover the values" conveyed by Islam. (Worse than spurious, the ignorance and stupidity of that appeal is readily apparent from the Gardiner revelations at pp. 69-74.)

A month before the local Pontier coup, the universal Lodge had also lauded the election of Jorge Bergoglio to lead the universal Church. They have applauded him ever since.

Rapturously, of course, for "Who am I to judge?".

But also knowingly — in grateful response to His speech to the European Parliament, for example. For although sprinkled with laments about the decrepit state of Europe and its institutions, the papal address last November was overwhelmingly secular: safe "in the beaten paths of democracy, dignity, ecology etc, not to mention immigration," as one commentator put it. While "God" and "transcendence" were duly uttered several times, they were swamped by two dozen references to "dignity" and "rights."

Predictably, neocons rushed to praise the pontiff for his supposedly cunning ruse: routing the enemy on their own linguistic turf. Yet as the criminalisation of Catholic faith and conscience ramps up, surely our best defence is papal offence: by way of unequivocal Gospel witness before the Lords of the Earth, wherever the Vicar of Christ confronts them?

Cardinal Manning predicted, however, that in the end times "the learned shall fall, partly because they cannot stand for unpopular truth in the face of popular falsehood."

That is why a speech hammering the restoration of all things in Our Lord Jesus Christ — to include European unity — was never going to happen. Celebrity pontiffs do not court the sounds of stunned silence!

And so the Pope duly earned a standing ovation for his earth-bound offering: "A very anthropocentric vision of society," commented one French observer, "tinged with a deism which is after all not far from the thinkers of (what is wrongly called) the 'Enlightenment'."

Not very far at all. And narrowing by the day, as demonstrated by the Bergoglian embrace of the United Religions project (see Ferreira, pp. 32-39).

Moreover, this natural meeting of Modernist and Masonic minds proceeds in inverse proportion to the ever-widening chasm: between the social gospel preached by Francis and the Gospel of Christ proclaimed by pontiffs of yore. Mortalium Animos, for instance, posits a different religion to the one currently touted by Rome (see Gawley, pp. 45-59).

Just imagine Pius XI's nuclear reaction to Francis denouncing proselytism as "solemn nonsense" and imploring one and all to not convert!

"He [Archbishop Bergoglio] counselled me not to take the step [to enter the Church]," revealed his late friend Tony Palmer, a leading Protestant, "because it looked like I was choosing a side and I would cease to be a bridge builder."

Professor Armstrong puts it all in historical perspective: viz., the officially-sanctioned, century-old 'dialogue' with the Lodge. Led by the Jesuits, that ill-fated collaboration calls to mind the honorary membership bestowed upon Jorge Bergoglio, S.J., by a local branch of Rotary International — condemned by Rome in 1929 for its Masonic origins, hostility to the Church, and naturalistic moral code "which in almost every particular resembles that of Freemasonry."

Never repudiated, this blithe patronage of White Masonry recalls, in turn, the Fatima message; above all the prayerful part noted in another response to the Yore report:

Francis exemplifies, sadly, the ultimate rotten fruit of Vatican II and Jesuit Modernism risen to the top. Until this pontificate, I never fully appreciated how crucial were the repeated requests of little Jacinta Marto, one of the three Fatima seers, to "pray very much for the Holy Father."
