LINES OF CONVERGENCE

THE EDITOR

The push for compulsory sex education in Catholic schools, treated last month and again herein, encapsulates the dissolute and perilous state of the country at large.

Fundamental to the shredding of the Christian fabric, under sustained attack since 1997, it will drag the entire nation to the bottom of the nihilistic abyss. The following syllogism joins the dots of inexorable descent and demise:

Classroom sex-education seduces children and inculcates bad morals. Bad morals corrupt souls. Corrupted souls ruin families. Ruined families destroy civilizations. Ergo, compulsory sex-education will destroy the nation.

Two major questions arise:

I. What kind of political leadership would set out to wreck their own country through this suicidal attack on faith and morals?
II. What sort of Catholic hierarchy would meekly acquiesce in such a wicked assault?

I

The answer to the first query lies in the political pedigree of a Labour government whose Socialist agenda is that of its spiritual father, Karl Marx, who typically declared that "The idea of God is the keynote of a perverted civilization. It must be destroyed.”

Diabolical lineage
Consumed with this hatred of God and the souls He made in His image and likeness, Marx desired to separate man from His Creator and drag him down to Hell.

Upon leaving school and suddenly rejecting his Christian faith, he wrote: "I wish to avenge myself against the One who rules above." And elsewhere, "My soul, once faithful to God, now is destined for hell." While in Oulanem, his satanic drama in which the demonic players revel in the seven deadly sins and vow never to perform good works, he raged against "personified mankind": Yet I have power within my youthful arms/To clench and crush you with tempestuous force,/While for us both the abyss yawns in darkness./You will sink down and I shall follow laughing,/Whispering in your ears, “Descend, come with me, friend.”

Clearly no Shakespeare, he is all sound and fury. "Perished, perished. My time is over," cries his central character Oulanem, facing death. "The clock has stopped, the tiny building has fallen./Soon I’ll squeeze eternity to me, and with a wild cry/Will speak out a curse to all mankind."

At the age of 18 when he penned this drama, Marx had no illusions about serving mankind, the proletariat or Socialism. On the contrary, all the indications are that he sold his soul to the Devil very early on, as further indicated in the verse "Nidler": Hellish evaporations rise and fill my brains,/Until I will go mad and my heart will not change dramatically./See this sword?/The King of darkness sold it to me.

Lutheran Pastor Richard Wurmbrand endured fourteen years in Communist prisons and later wrote Was Karl Marx a Satanist? He could not provide "indisputable proof" that Marx belonged to a satanic sect but found "sufficient leads to imply this strongly." During his comprehensive research he also found that "Marx’s whole attitude and conversation were satanic in nature." His correspondence with Friedrich Engels is "full of obscenities.... Foul language abounds, and there is not one letter in which one hears an idealist speaking about his humanist or Socialist dream." At the very least, he wrote: "Marx fed upon Satanic ideas; therefore he set forth Satanist doctrine."

These ideas were fed to him by men deeply immersed in the occult. One of his partners in the First International was Mikhail Bakunin, a Russian anarchist, who wrote:

The Evil One is the satanic revolt against divine authority, revolt in which we see the fecund germ of all human emancipations, the revolution. Socialists recognise each other by the words “In the name of the one to whom a great wrong has been done."

Satan [is] the eternal rebel, the first freethinker and the emancipator of worlds. He makes man ashamed of his bestial ignorance and obedience; he emancipates him, stamps upon his brow the seal of liberty and humanity, in urging him to disobey and eat of the fruit of knowledge.

"Bakunin does more than praise Lucifer," writes Wurmbrand. "He has a concrete program of revolution, but not one that would free the poor from exploitation. He writes: 'In this revolution we will have to awaken the Devil in the people, to stir up the basest passions. Our mission is to destroy, not to edify. The passion of destruction is a creative passion'."

Marx endorsed this programme of spiritual destruction as the essence of the revolution, writing in The Communist Manifesto that his aim was the abolition not only of all religions, but also of all morals, which would make everything permissible.

From his own study of the life and writings of Marx, the Russian Georgi Marchenko also concluded:

It is a myth that Marx had been pursuing the ideal of helping mankind, that religion was the obstacle on the way to the realization of those ideals, and that this was the reason why he took an anti-religious position. On the contrary, Marx hated all gods and couldn’t hear about God. Socialism was only a decoy to attract the proletariat and intelligentsia to the realization of a satanic ideal.

It was a whispering serpent named Moses Hess who led him to adopt the Socialist ploy in pursuit of this wicked agenda. Hess himself was in no doubt about the real target and goal, writes Wurmbrand, claiming from the very beginning that its purpose would be to give “the last kick to medieval religion.” While his friend Georg Jung said it even more clearly: “Marx will surely chase God from his heaven.”

Accordingly, Marx promoted his Luciferian revolution above all else as the liberating antidote to Christianity and its Resurrected Christ, Whose utopian promise of eternal life kept the masses down and stifled their rebellious potential in the here and now.

"Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions," he decreed."It is the opium of the people."

His demand for "the abolition of religion" remains the animating force of the Socialist deception he passed on like a mutating virus. Today, his corporatist progeny - the EU/Bilderberg transnationalists, the social-engineering Blairites and the whole panoply of deceivers gathered under the Green umbrella of the Socialist International - are the inheritors and disseminators of this anti-gospel. Hence their common purpose always and everywhere: to clear away the Christian barrier obstructing their secularisation of faith and morals; to cut man adrift from his transcendent moorings.

In the official guidance appended to the neo-Marxist Equality Bill, for example, vegans, atheists and teetotallers are designated as religious adherents. Masterminded by Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman and due for enactment this autumn, the guidelines state that "A belief need not include faith or worship of a god or gods, but must effect how a person lives their life or perceives the world." Thus, it will cover "any religious belief" and even "a lack of belief," providing for atheists, dangerous cults like Scientology (referred to as "new religions") and those with philosophical views such as pacifism and humanism.

Force-feeding children hard-core porn under the guise of sex education, as referenced last month, is simply the next tick-box item on Labour's slash-and-burn agenda: "to awaken the Devil in the people, to stir up the basest passions. ... to destroy, not to edify," as Karl's satanic collaborator, comrade Bakunin, put it.

It is intended as the coup de grâce for traditional family life which Labour has targeted for annihilation in perfect accord with Marxist dogma. In The Origin of the Family, Private Property, and the State [1884], Friedrich Engels dictates “the abolition of the monogamous family as the economic unit of society,” laying out the means to achieve that satanic end: elimination of the concept of legitimacy, “the reintroduction of the whole female sex into the public industries,” the collective care and rearing of children, and no-fault divorce. Thus, with these and other agenda items already ticked off, mandated child abuse in the classroom from the earliest age is the seal on Labour's destructive pursuit of the foundation and jewel of Christian civilization - the autonomous, intact family.

Labour's demolition of the Christian bastions has been so comprehensive that Baroness Deech, the chairman of the Bar Standards Board, recently declared: "English law has lost any clear concept of marriage.” Quoting from a famous legal definition of marriage as the “voluntary union for life of one man and one woman, to the exclusion of all others,” she concluded: “Such is the transformation of family law and family life that not one word of this remains true.” She also believes human rights law may soon rule that it is discriminatory to ban homosexuals from marrying in the same way that heterosexual couples do.

This systematic dissolution has unleashed base instincts and unbridled passions normally curbed and tamed by Christian family life, spawning epic levels of abortion and illegitimacy, promiscuity and venereal disease, drug and alcohol abuse, educational failure, delinquency and violent crime - all bankrolled by the Welfare god while bread-and-circus shopping cathedrals and football shrines fill the void within. A violent, fatherless, pagan wasteland, it is the bestial Marxist vision writ large.

"According to Marx, man is primarily a belly which has to be filled and refilled constantly. ... Marriage, love, art, science, religion, philosophy, everything other than the needs of the belly, are all superstructure, determined in the last analysis by the state of the belly," writes Wurmbrand, as if transcribing New Labour's original blueprint for Broken Britain.

"He wanted to destroy the world, set up a throne for himself that would be based upon the world’s shocks, throes and convulsions," says Marchenko, as though depicting the British upheaval and destruction sacrificed to Karl on the altar of Tony's ego.

Indeed, such is the comprehensive fulfilment of the satanic Marxist agenda by the mendacious New Labour project, now crowned by compulsory sex ed for infants, that "unconscious Satanism" comes to mind.

"A man can be a Satanist without being aware that such a religion exists," says Wurmbrands, who would know, having lived through years of hell on earth in Rumanian prisons. "But if ... he lives as though he were only matter, if he denies religious and moral principles, he is in fact a Satanist."

Apostate "Tone" and his amoral Socialist partners in crime, like Alastair "we don't do God" Campbell, certainly fit that bill.

II

The answer to the second question involves an apostolic line converging seamlessly with the political lineage above. Why the aversion of the episcopal gaze from this heinous drive for "institutionalised sex abuse" in their own classrooms (as Eric Hester warned them in a letter of expert counsel they promptly binned)? Because the pestilential Modernist spirit of England's hierarchy is that of their father in anti-faith, the Rt. Rev. J. Iscariot.

Diabolical Disorientation
When the Devil entered Judas he sold out [Jn 13:2]. The patron of bad bishops took his ill-gotten gain, then lost his nerve. To trace his line just follow the money to the suicidal impulse: to English hirelings, State handouts and Catholic servility. Mr Caffrey's ensuing account underscores this destructive convergence of Church and State we have decried for many years. A perverse dovetailing which would have tickled the father of Socialism, yet surprised him.

Marx foresaw his sweeping away of Christian civilization with the help of fellow-travelling politicians and self-serving functionaries. But he surely did not envision Catholic Shepherds rallying to his cause like "useful idiots," to the point of shrugging off the corruption of innocence. After all, he could hardly anticipate the rise of Modernism within episcopal ranks: whereby the destructive seeds of his diabolic political ideology would find fertile soil in the hearts and minds of Catholic prelates "diabolically disoriented" by Liberal ideology (as Sister Lucia of Fatima phrased it).

Thus, primed to sup with the Devil, the bishops now disdain public outrage and refuse to man the barricades. Instead, engaging in realpolitik with their feigned opponents, they pursue pragmatic solutions tailored for the "real world," where only "knowing" children are "safe" children; a world where advocating "purity" and "virginity" is laughed to scorn as naive, utopian and irrelevant.

For what it's worth, I remind these apostolic sons of Judas that Our Lord Himself flagged the source of their infidelity. "Go behind me Satan," he said, rebuking the Prince of the Apostles for his worldly way. "...these thoughts of thine are man's, not God's" [Matt. 16:23-24].

III

All of this poses a third and final question: What to do before such overwhelming odds on all sides?

The solution lies with Peter. Humbled by the Lord, he resolved to think like God. So doing, he longed to shed his blood for Him.

Evincing similar humility, contrition and faith, English prelates must return to this Petrine line from which they have spiritually departed. For only when the apostolic succession bears raw public witness to Christ can benighted nations escape the infernal pit of irreligion. Next month we recall an exemplar of this tradition; a bishop for our neo-pagan times who enjoyed epochal success.
